The Steam version of CT is by no means a quality or respectable release of CT, and it is definitely not a definitive release of CT. If they ever think of doing it.it would be a tough ride. Crono Trigger is the perfect 16-bit JRPG. Whether SE will make another release of something else entirely. There is no way that a remake of Crono Trigger can catch the magic of the original.That is a completely other story than FF7 that has seen numerous entrys as game and even movies. At the end of the day Square Enix considers it the remastered definitive edition so the likelihood of them even having another "remaster" option on the table for it is near zero. You can call it whatever you want, but in the end it's just your opinion and not how Square-Enix views it. The Steam version of CT is more like a demaster.
